Privacy Notice

This notice describes what data Warren County Released Inmates receives, how that data is used, and when another party may receive it. It also explains cookies, security limits, and available privacy requests. Using the site means accepting these practices. Effective July 26, 2026.

Information You Submit

Terms Entered in Search Tools

A name, place, or other query entered in a search box is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. Warren County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own system. The provider's privacy terms govern its handling of the query.

Messages Sent to Us

If you send an email or contact-form message, it is retained as needed to read and answer the request. Messages are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.

Technical Data Collected Automatically

Basic technical records may be created when a page loads. They help operate the service and diagnose faults.

  • Internet Protocol address
  • Browser name and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages viewed and time spent on them
  • The referring page or site, when supplied
  • Date and time stamps

Cookie Use

Cookies can help measure how visitors use the site and support some page functions. Most browsers allow cookies to be limited or blocked. A blocked cookie may cause certain features to work differently.

How the Data Is Used

Collected information supports a small set of operational purposes.

  • Keep pages available and responsive
  • Send a search request to the selected partner
  • Understand which resources visitors use
  • Locate and correct technical problems
  • Display advertising that may reflect visitor interests

Links and Outside Services

Links may lead to sheriff and corrections pages, release-record systems, government portals, or outside search providers. Once a visitor leaves, the destination's own privacy notice controls. Warren County Released Inmates does not govern that site's data practices.

Advertising partners may use their own systems to measure activity across more than one website and select interest-based ads. That tracking occurs under the partner's controls, not as an official Warren County record process.

Parties That May Receive Data

Personal information is not sold. Limited data may be handled by the parties needed to provide or protect the service.

  • Search providers that process submitted queries
  • Analytics providers that measure site use
  • Advertising networks that deliver ads
  • Law enforcement or another government body acting under a valid legal order

Reasonable Security Measures

Standard administrative and technical safeguards are used where practical. No internet-connected service is fully secure, however, and this site cannot promise that a breach or unauthorized access will never occur.

Visitors Younger Than Eighteen

The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under eighteen. If a site-operator reply channel is made available, a parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may use it to request deletion.

Available Privacy Choices

A person may make the following requests regarding data held by this site, subject to applicable law and identity verification. The Contacts page states whether a direct site-operator channel is currently available.

  • Ask for a copy of personal information held
  • Correct information that is inaccurate
  • Request deletion of personal information
  • Opt out of certain forms of processing
