Check Warren Supervision Records

To find someone connected to Warren Probation & Parole Office after release, first confirm that an MDOC or court supervision record exists. This office is not a jail, prison, release gate, or booking custodian. It serves community corrections. A person may be outside prison while still under parole, probation, or another form of supervision, but an ordinary Warren County bond release does not create MDOC supervision. Use the state parolee search, match the right identity, and contact the Warren office only for a verified state supervision link.

Warren Office Is Not Custody

Warren Probation & Parole Office is an MDOC community-corrections office. No MDOC prison, regional correctional facility, community work center, restitution center, or technical-violation center in Warren County appeared on the current MDOC facilities map. The local address therefore does not show that a person was imprisoned there or released from that building.

The office becomes relevant after a state or court record shows supervision. Parole is conditional release from confinement. Probation may be imposed by a court, sometimes without a prison term. Earned Release Supervision can place an eligible person outside prison while MDOC jurisdiction and inmate status continue. Full discharge is different because state supervision and sentence obligations have ended.

Check Warren Parole Records

Use the MDOC parolee search first. It accepts first name, last name, MDOC ID, city, and county, including Warren. An MDOC number is the strongest match. Compare the name, date of birth or other lawful identifiers, city and county context, and supervision details before calling the office.

  1. Search by MDOC number when known.
  2. Use name plus Warren only as a narrower fallback.
  3. Confirm that the record reflects parole or another state nexus.
  4. Call the Warren office to verify the responsible unit, subject to disclosure rules.
  5. Request MDOC discharge material if full discharge is the real question.

A Warren filter may reflect supervision information, not a person's current physical location or former prison. The Post-Release Supervision guide explains the distinctions in depth.

Warren Supervision Office Contact

Warren Probation & Parole Office
4211 Rifle Range Road
Vicksburg, MS 39180
601-638-7611
Fax 601-638-0356

Call with an MDOC number and the exact public record that links the person to supervision. Ask whether this is the responsible office and which MDOC channel can confirm the status. The office may limit what it discloses. Its Warren address does not prove residence, current presence, or a past prison location.

Current public office hours were not verified in the research, so confirm before visiting. The office does not provide Warren County Jail release records. For an ordinary jail booking, call the sheriff. For a VPD booking, use VPD or City Clerk records. For sentence computation, jail credit, or discharge papers, use MDOC Records and the written public-request portal.

The official MDOC facility page identifies the local community-corrections office.

Official MDOC Warren Probation and Parole Office page

This source confirms the office contact. It is not an inmate roster or proof that a named person is supervised there. Match the parolee record first, then ask the office to confirm the correct unit.

Warren Release Status Differences

Released from confinement means the person physically left a jail or prison. On parole means the person remains under conditions in the community after confinement. Probation is court-ordered supervision and may follow confinement or begin without a prison stay. ERS is conditional community placement under MDOC jurisdiction. Fully discharged means the relevant sentence and supervision have ended.

Do not convert one label into another. A parolee-search result supports a supervision trail but does not establish full discharge. Disappearance from that search can reflect discharge, change, data delay, revocation, or another issue. A county bond release is neither parole nor probation unless a separate court or MDOC record says so. Use Release Date Lookup when a tentative date is being mistaken for an actual event.

Request MDOC Discharge Records

MDOC's public inmate detail shows an exact field called “Tentative Release Date.” It is a revisable estimate, not proof that release happened. The public inmate search was not verified as a complete archive of fully discharged people. If neither the inmate nor parolee search resolves the history, request the discharge certificate, release date, time sheet, jail credit, release category, and supervision start or end.

MDOC requires formal public requests in writing through its online portal. Telephone requests are not accepted as formal requests. MDOC Records can clarify time questions at P.O. Box 24388, Jackson, MS 39225, 601-933-2889, or MDOCRecordsDepartment@mdoc.state.ms.us. Ask for segregable nonexempt material if part is withheld. A discharge record is stronger historical support than disappearance from a public search.

Warren Jail Release Is Separate

A person who bonded out of Warren County Jail may have no connection to this office. The sheriff jail-docket and booking or release entry are the first sources for that event. A court bond order explains authority, while the jail record supplies physical exit. If the person transferred into MDOC, the sheriff record should name that destination before state tools become relevant.

Likewise, a Vicksburg police bail release belongs to VPD booking records and the proper court. Do not call community corrections for a city holding episode without a state supervision record. The Warren County release search sorts county, city, state, federal, and immigration paths so an office address is not mistaken for custody.

Warren Absconder and Warrant Checks

An absconder is a person reported outside the approved supervision process. That does not automatically mean current incarceration. Mississippi SAVIN includes an abscond-supervision notification category, but alerts should be confirmed with MDOC and any issuing court. No verified Warren County named-person absconder list was found.

Vicksburg's warrants page explains that police or a Municipal Court judge may issue criminal arrest warrants, but it is not a verified searchable list of names. A person can be outside custody and have a separate warrant issue. Keep parole status, probation status, warrant status, and current custody as different questions. Use VINE Inmate Check for notifications from a participating source, then call the source agency.

Warren Supervision Identity Checks

Prefer the MDOC number. A common name and Warren County filter do not prove identity. Compare middle name, date of birth, city, county, and any other displayed identifiers. If details conflict, do not merge records. Ask MDOC or the local office to resolve the difference.

Dates also need labels. A prison entry date, Tentative Release Date, actual release date, parole start, office reporting date, and final discharge date can all differ. Save the exact source and wording. A photograph may aid comparison, but it can be old and should not be the only match. For recent county releases, consult 24-Hour Releases or 72-Hour Releases, not this supervision office.

Note the date of every search and office confirmation. Supervision assignments and public data can change. A saved result is evidence of what the system displayed then, not a permanent statement about residence, custody, or final discharge.

Warren Parole Board Questions

The Mississippi State Parole Board and MDOC community supervision perform different roles. The Board addresses parole decisions, while MDOC administers community supervision and maintains the Warren office. A person may be eligible for parole without receiving a favorable decision. Even after favorable action, address approval, paperwork, and release preparation may remain before physical exit.

For eligibility or a denial reason, use the Board at 239 North Lamar Street, Suite 501, Jackson, 601-576-3520, or MSStateParoleBoard@mdoc.state.ms.us. No verified public current hearing calendar or decisions database was located. Do not invent a hearing date or infer approval from an eligibility milestone. Ask the Board for the correct confirmation route, then obtain the actual prison exit and supervision record from MDOC.

A court probation order also differs from a parole decision. Obtain the sentencing or probation order from the court, and use the Warren office only when the public record shows that MDOC community corrections is the responsible unit. A favorable Board action, a court order, a tentative date, and a physical release are four separate records.

Warren SAVIN Supervision Alerts

Mississippi SAVIN can issue an “abscond supervision” event as well as release, transfer, return, and escape notices from participating sources. An absconder indication means the person may be outside the approved supervision process. It does not prove incarceration or identify a current jail. Save the source agency, identifier, timestamp, and exact wording, then confirm through MDOC and any issuing court.

General SAVIN registration may be anonymous. Direct victims of MDOC offenders have a separate Victim Services registration route and are not automatically registered. Complete the confirmation process shown for phone, text, or email, and keep contact details current. Missed or delayed alerts do not prove that supervision continued unchanged or that a person was discharged.

Preserve the MDOC Event

When a result changes, ask MDOC for the underlying release, revocation, transfer, or discharge record. Preserve its exact label and date. A changed website result does not explain the event by itself. For a final discharge claim, prefer the discharge certificate or equivalent MDOC record over a missing parolee-search result.

Official Warren Supervision Routes

The MDOC Warren office page confirms the local contact, while the MDOC parolee search supplies the public supervision lookup. Use the official Mississippi State Parole Board page for Board contact and MDOC's public-record instructions for written discharge material. No single page proves prison exit, supervision, and final discharge at once.
